Clay Pigeon Shooting is a challenging and fun sport. Hitting the fast moving clay tests your timing and hand-eye coordination. Nothing beats that feeling when you pull the trigger and see your target explode into a million pieces!

It’s an activity that can be enjoyed by everyone, regardless of age and physical ability. Men, women and kids can compete together as equals. This makes it a perfect family activity day out and it is popular for stag/hen dos and birthday parties.

How does it work?

Clay Pigeon Shooting doesn’t involve live pigeons! It is simulated game bird shooting using circular targets, called 'clays', which are round (not bird-shaped) and break apart when successfully hit. Unlike a rifle that fires a single shot, shotguns fire cartridges holding around 300 small pellets that fly towards the target in a small cloud or 'pattern' when you pull the trigger. Suitable for children aged 12+ and beginners or more experienced shooters.

    Why not make a full day of it?

    Try combining both Paintballing and Clay Shooting into a full day of fun! Play paintball in the morning and settle any scores with clay shooting in the afternoon. Stag and hens welcome!

    A comprehensive safety talk will be given at the start of the day before any player is allowed to participate.
